In today’s world you can never have too much security online or on your local computer. There are just to many people out there that want to get at your privet information and use it without your knowledge. However there are alotof things you can do to help protect yourself and your information while you are online.
One great way that I found to hide you online from other is to use what cyber security professionals call IP masking. Since a IP address is like having everyone looking at your front door having a small filtering product on your computer to mask your true IP address is a great idea.
Another great way to keep your information safe is with password locking software on your computer. Many people find it convenient to just save there passwords in basic internet explorer windows. Unfortunately these are becoming less and less secure so a couple of options to keep your passwords and information safe is using an encrypted USB drive along with a password safe Encrypted software on your local machine. This makes it harder for People to get at the information you do not want them to have.
These are just a couple of the things that you can do to help keep your information safe. The real basic one is use common sense never give any information to anyone online. If you really stick with that policy then your chances of loosing your information online are nonexistent.
